The Micropower Council’s Christmas

Reception, sponsored by Daikin UK, took

place on Monday 19th December on the

House of Commons terrace, with Daikin

UK Managing Director, Peter Verkempynck

invited to address the audience.

Present at the event were Greg Barker

MP (Minister of State for Energy and

Climate Change) and Dave Sowden (Chief

Executive, Micropower Council) as well as

a range of industry stakeholders.

Peter’s speech reflected on the advances

that have already been made in the

renewables market and looked forward to

the year ahead, with the introduction of

both the Green Deal and the next phase of

the Renewable Heat Incentive.
