December 2013. If you are not already MCS certifi ed,

RHI CHECKLIST

The online application process for

householders is being streamlined to

be as quick and easy as possible. Before

starting an RHI application, applicants will

need the following information:

• EPC number - to verify the house is

a domestic property

• Green Deal advice report - showing

that cavity wall insulation and a

minimum depth of loft insulation has

been installed

• MCS number - equipment must be

installed and commissioned before

they apply for RHI

The domestic RHI is expected to launch

by Easter 2014 - the regulations are

currently going through Parliament

and industry is awaiting DECC's

announcement of the start date.

OFGEM to help applicants understand the

domestic RHI and see whether they are
