Heating

Domestic RHI is due to start in Spring 2014,

and installations with Daikin Altherma LT

and Daikin Altherma HT heat pumps will

be eligible to apply. All heat pump systems,

including high temperature heat pumps,

need to be correctly designed with a

maximum heating flow temperature of 50°C.

The RHI will pay a tariff of 7.3p per kWh for

each unit of renewable heat generated

over seven years. For example, for a heating

system with a total heat demand of 15,000

kWh and a flow temperature of 50°C,

this payment would equate to £4,800

approximately over seven years (less any

previous funding received, e.g. RHPP, is

deducted).

The RHPP voucher scheme is still open

until March 31st 2014, providing a one-off

grant of £1,300 for all Daikin Altherma heat

pumps and is a helpful upfront subsidy for

householders who don't want to wait for

the start of the RHI.
